How it all began…

Rootbound is the seedling of four local women from Sisters, OR. As women who have sprouted families in Sisters, we've found a shared purpose to nurture our local community through delicious, local and sustainable plant-based vegan food. We're excited to share our love of food prepared with the best, locally-sourced ingredients to our menu of family favorites and fresh, in-seasonal specials to satisfy everyone's appetites, not just vegans.

At Rootbound we bring the power of creativity and experience. We craft healthy food as a means to branch out from the dogma of traditional food to find and create delicious meals that bring a community together in the spirit of connecting the farmer to the family. We believe that together, with the right nutrients, diversity in our diet, and space to grow and explore, all of us can flourish.
